Fonctionnement

Thermal-transfer overprinter operating in intermittent mode: when the substrate stops, the 53 mm 300 dpi thermal print head moves vertically against the substrate, transferring ink from a 600 m ribbon at the print position. After printing the head retracts and the substrate advances. Ribbon is indexed forward by the controller between prints. The control box drives the head, ribbon, and pneumatic clamp; print data is loaded over USB / RS232 / Ethernet. Compressed-air provides print-head clamp pressure.

1Thermal-transfer overprinter operating in intermittent mode: when the substrate stops, the 53 mm 300 dpi thermal print head moves vertically against the substrate, transferring ink from a 600 m ribbon at the print position.

2After printing the head retracts and the substrate advances.

3Ribbon is indexed forward by the controller between prints.
