Fonctionnement
Two cylindrical shells joined at an angle form a V-shape and rotate around a horizontal axis at 12 rpm. Material continuously splits between the two arms and recombines at the apex, producing convective and diffusive blending of powders or granules. Smooth interior surfaces eliminate dead zones; charge is limited to about 40% of total volume for proper tumbling.
