Fonctionnement

Dry powder (free-water content <1.5%) is fed by vertical and horizontal screw conveyors into a pair of counter-rotating compaction rollers (Φ240 × 100 mm) under hydraulic pressure up to 25 MPa / 300 kN, producing dense flakes. The flakes are broken by a crushing rotor (176 rpm) and then sized through a two-stage granulation system (primary granulator 5–30 rpm; secondary granulator 30–144 rpm) to produce 8–80 mesh granules. All drives use Siemens V20 variable-frequency drives; a Siemens Smart1000 HMI and Siemens PLC control the system.
