Fonctionnement
Material loaded into the inner cylinder is brought to vacuum (−0.1 MPa); jacket steam (or thermal oil) indirectly heats the cylinder wall. The internal rake rotates at 5–25 rpm, alternating forward and reverse with timed switching to continuously turn the material, refresh the drying surface, and accelerate liquid evaporation. Vapour is continuously evacuated by vacuum pump; optional condensate recovery device recovers solvent. Timed forward/reverse rotation fully utilises the entire heat-transfer area of the vessel, improving drying efficiency.
