Fonctionnement

The double-cone mixing drum rotates at 7.8 rpm; material tumbles and diffuses through convective mixing. An optional forced-mixing mechanism provides additional shear for fine powders, clumped material or moisture-bearing blends. After the set mixing time the machine stops and the butterfly valve opens for direct discharge. Charge volume must not exceed 2/3 of drum volume.
