Fonctionnement
A rare-earth permanent-magnet synchronous motor drives a screw air-end via a variable frequency drive. The VFD speed-regulates the motor to maintain constant outlet pressure under varying air demand, minimising load-unload losses. An air-cooled aftercooler removes heat of compression. Output passes through a check valve and into the customer's distribution system.
