Fonctionnement

Four ampoules are loaded as a group onto the 4-station stepping transmission system. At station 1, bottles are separated and delivered; at station 2, pre-nitrogen purge displaces atmospheric oxygen; at station 3, liquid is filled via 4 glass pumps; at station 4, post-nitrogen purge follows filling. The ampoules are then preheated and sealed by a single-orifice pull-string flame head, which uses oxygen and LPG. The cast steel rotating cam drives the indexing mechanism and is warranted for 3 years against wear.
