Resistive heating elements embedded in the graphite plate generate heat when current is applied. The proprietary intelligent SR temperature controller with PID algorithm reads the LCD-displayed temperature and adjusts power delivery to maintain the setpoint, enabling fast ramp-up and stable steady-state temperature.
