Product is fed through the side-seal station where the film is wrapped longitudinally; a heated Teflon-coated alloy knife cuts and seals the side seam continuously. Because the seal runs along the side (edge seal), package length is unlimited. Omron PID temperature control maintains consistent knife temperature throughout the run.
