Fonctionnement

Material is screw-fed from the hopper into the grinder where it is impact- and shear-ground between high-speed rotor knives and a fixed tooth ring. Negative pressure from the induced-draft fan immediately pulls fine product into a cyclone separator where it is discharged via an automatic rotary valve. Coarser particles return via a guide ring for further grinding. The internal air classifier sets the cut-size; dust is recovered in a pulse-bag filter and returned to product.
