Transmitted brightfield optical microscopy using infinity-corrected plan achromatic optics. LED base illumination passes through the specimen on the mechanical stage, through the objective and into the binocular eyepieces. Vacuum-positioned objectives in the inward-tilting turret ensure consistent focal plane across objectives without stage adjustment.
