Fonctionnement

Conveyor moves the product into the labelling position; a SICK label sensor detects the label edge and a Panasonic product sensor detects the product. The PLC commands a YAKO label-head traction motor to peel and dispense the label; the leading edge is applied to the top face, then a corner-wrap mechanism (stainless steel/aluminium alloy with brush roller) folds and presses the trailing portion onto the adjacent side face, completing the corner wrap. A top-press mechanism ensures uniform adhesion.

Processus de fonctionnement

1Conveyor moves the product into the labelling position; a SICK label sensor detects the label edge and a Panasonic product sensor detects the product.

2The PLC commands a YAKO label-head traction motor to peel and dispense the label; the leading edge is applied to the top face, then a corner-wrap mechanism (stainless steel/aluminium alloy with brush roller) folds and presses the trailing portion onto the adjacent side face, completing the corner wrap.

3A top-press mechanism ensures uniform adhesion.
