Fonctionnement
The drum is suspended between two Y-shaped universal joints fitted to the main and driven shafts. As the spindle rotates (variable-frequency drive), the joints carry the drum through compound spatial motion that simultaneously crosses and rotates perpendicularly in space. Material inside the drum is repeatedly inter-folded and convected in a sealed environment, achieving uniform mixing without segregation. Speed and time can be tuned to optimize for material properties.
