Drum is mounted on a three-axis pivoting frame producing a unique three-dimensional swing - translation, rotation, and oscillation simultaneously - generating strong alternating pulse motion that continuously displaces material. Resulting eddies have variable energy gradients, which produce excellent mixing effects without the centrifugal segregation typical of single-axis mixers.
