Fonctionnement
Compressed air is dried, filtered and injected through Laval nozzles into the milling chamber at supersonic speed. Multiple supersonic jets accelerate the feed material so that particles repeatedly collide with each other and shear; with no rotating mill parts, particles self-grind to a target fineness. Ground product rises with the air, is collected in a cyclone, and ultra-fines are caught by a pulse-jet bag filter; clean air is exhausted. The whole system runs at negative pressure for zero dust emission.
