Fonctionnement

Filled capsules from the upstream filling machine drop into the sorting device G. A jet of clean compressed air (0.25 m³/min at 0.3 MPa, regulated through a filter pressure-relief valve with gauge I) passes through the capsule stream. Properly filled capsules — heavier — resist the air flow and continue along their path; lighter rejects (empty shells, broken fragments, capsules where body and cap have separated, and severely under-filled capsules) are entrained by the air and collected into the accumulator container H. Good capsules exit through outlet port J for downstream polishing or bottling. Air pressure can be tuned for different capsule sizes (00#–4#) and target fill weights.

Nettoyage et entretien

After each run or shutdown, cut air supply and wipe exterior surfaces with a dry soft cloth. Use compressed air to blow out dust from hard-to-reach areas. Check for loose screws and tighten as needed. Lock brake wheels when stationary. Close air supply when machine is not in use. Drain filter regulator at least once per shift; clean filter bowl with neutral detergent, rinse with water, air dry. Replace filter element when dirty.
