The SED-2ZSJ-D Pneumatic Vacuum Feeder conveys powder and granular materials directly from containers into mixers, reactors, hoppers, tablet presses, packaging machines, vibrating screens, granulators, wet/dry granulator
Fonctionnement
Compressed air powers the pneumatic vacuum pump to create negative pressure in the hopper. With the discharge gate closed (pneumatic cylinder), material is drawn from the source container via hose into the vacuum hopper. After the feeding time, the air supply is cut, the vacuum collapses, and the discharge gate opens to deliver material to the receiving equipment. A back-flush system cleans the filter elements each cycle. For units with material level control, the feeder auto-starts when the downstream hopper level drops below the setpoint and stops when it rises above it.
