Fonctionnement
Microwave radiation at 2450 MHz ± 25 MHz is fed simultaneously from both sides of the vacuum chamber, heating material from inside out. The chamber is maintained under vacuum to lower the boiling point of water (enabling drying at 50–90 °C without thermal damage). A 7.5 kW vacuum pump exhausts water vapor. Microwave power is continuously adjustable (automatic and manual). A door safety interlock automatically cuts power when the door is opened to prevent leakage. Temperature is monitored by a German Optris infrared probe (0–300 °C) and an internal LCD camera.
