Fonctionnement

Air is drawn through a filter and electric heater into a hot-air distributor at the top of the drying chamber, entering the chamber as an evenly swirling flow. Feed liquid is pumped through a filter to a centrifugal atomizer head (Φ80 mm, 2000–40000 rpm) at the chamber top, which sprays it into very fine droplets. The enormous droplet surface area in hot co-current air evaporates 95–98% of moisture in seconds, forming dry granular product. Dried particles collect at the tower bottom and a cyclone separator Φ300; humid exhaust is vented outdoors by an induced-draft fan.
