Twin Panasonic scroll compressors compress R22 vapour from the evaporator coil into high-temperature, high-pressure gas. The aluminum-fin air-cooled condenser (23,600 m³/h) rejects heat to ambient air (rated at ≤45°C), condensing the refrigerant to liquid. After the externally-balanced thermal expansion valve, pressure drops; the refrigerant evaporates inside the tank-coil evaporator, chilling the process water from 12°C to 7°C. A built-in 2HP pump circulates the chilled water to the load.
