Fonctionnement

Twin-screw extrusion technology is used. A variable-frequency screw pump feeds raw material at adjustable rate. Material passes through the twin-screw extruder barrel where heat and pressure cause puffing. A dedicated nut/snack cutting machine then cuts the extruded product to length — the number of cutting knives is adjustable to achieve the desired piece length.
