SED-200CFS1-H — Super Pulverizer

Material is fed via screw conveyor into the mill chamber between the body and guide ring. High-speed rotating blades (32 high-speed-steel blades) shear and impact material against the toothed gear ring, causing impact, shear, and particle-particle/particle-blade/particle-gear-ring collision for alternating milling. Negative-pressure airflow carries fines past the guide ring into the classifier chamber. The high-speed classification wheel generates centrifugal force opposing the suction: particles larger than the critical (classification) diameter are heavy and thrown back into the mill for re-grinding; particles smaller than the critical diameter pass through the discharge pipe into the cyclone separator and are discharged via the discharge valve. Higher classifier-wheel speed gives finer powder.
