Fonctionnement

Material is loaded into a 304 SS U-shaped trough (1000×700×800 mm). A horizontal ribbon paddle (S-shape) on the central shaft, driven by a 5.5 kW motor through V-belts and a 250-series cycloidal/worm reducer (1:40), rotates at 20 rpm and pushes powders alternately inward and outward, blending them rapidly without dead corners. A double-layer jacket holds water (≤90 °C) or heat-transfer oil (>90 °C, up to 300 °C) heated by 2×6 kW resistance elements; a digital temperature controller adjusts the setpoint. Two top spray heads add liquid for wet granulation. A manual 159 mm guillotine valve at the bottom (0.5 m AFF) discharges the blend.

Nettoyage et entretien

Shaft seal ends must be kept clean to prevent material blackening or deterioration. The drain ports at both ends of the mixing tank must remain unobstructed. Contact surfaces are all stainless steel for easy cleaning.
