Fonctionnement
The dryer body comprises three layers: outer shell (SS304), jacket (carbon steel, heated by steam or thermal oil ≤ 0.6 MPa), and inner liner (316L). Insulation is superfine glass wool / silica-aluminium rock wool. Material in the inner liner tumbles as the double-cone drum rotates slowly (~3–13 rpm) around its horizontal axis, continuously renewing contact between material and the heated wall and maximising heat conduction. Simultaneously, vacuum pump draws internal pressure to –0.092 MPa, causing solvents (including water) to evaporate rapidly at low temperature. Solvent vapour is drawn out through the vacuum tube (SS304, with filter covered by industrial polyester felt to prevent product carry-over) and recovered.
