Fonctionnement

Continuous inkjet printing with pigment-type ink for high-contrast marks. A pump (driven by 120 W electronics) circulates pigment-based ink and solvent through a conical reservoir designed to minimize natural pigment settling. CleanFlow flow head technology continuously dispenses controlled droplets through a 60 or 70 micron nozzle (41.3 mm × 269.8 mm head, 23 mm × 3 m or 6 m optional umbilical, 76 mm bend radius). Charged droplets that should mark are deflected onto the substrate; remaining drops return to the gutter. Dynamic Calibration adjusts print parameters automatically to maintain quality. Smart Cartridge system loads 600 mL ink cartridges and 750 mL solvent cartridges with chip-based authentication preventing wrong-fluid use. Specially-filtered positive-pressure air directs droplets/dust away from the head. WYSIWYG 5.7" LCD lets operator design messages on-machine; PC-designed logos imported via USB. Print fields prompt operator to reduce coding errors.
