Fonctionnement

Filtered, electrically-heated air enters the top of the drying chamber via a hot-air distributor, forming a uniform spiral flow. Feed liquid is atomized by a high-speed centrifugal disperser at the chamber top; the fine droplets contact the hot air co-currently and 95-98% of the moisture evaporates within seconds. Finished product is continuously discharged from the chamber bottom and two-stage cyclone separators; exhaust air is expelled by the induced-draft fan. The short drying time (seconds) makes it ideal for heat-sensitive materials.
