Fonctionnement

Capsules/tablets feed from a 30 L (optional 60 L) hopper into a vibratory chute. A perforated screen removes coarse dust and chips into a collection container. Product enters the inspection stage in a single layer on transparent GMP-approved high-density polymer rollers. Two independent drives — a conveying unit and a rotating unit — move the rollers forward while spinning them, so each capsule/tablet rotates 360 degrees as it travels under the operator's gaze, illuminated by non-flashing fluorescent lamps from above and below. An adjustable mirror lets the operator inspect the bottom/far side. Empty capsules, halves and chips are pre-removed by a vacuum unit on the inspection belt; the operator removes other defects with a handheld Venturi-jet vacuum nozzle. A foot pedal stops the conveyor for closer inspection while the rollers keep rotating at a separately adjustable speed.
