Fonctionnement

Bottles capped with foil-disc-bearing closures pass through the induction sealing head. The induction coil generates an electromagnetic field that heats the aluminum foil disc inside the closure. The heat melts the polymer liner on the foil, bonding it to the rim of the bottle. The closure (now containing only the polymer band) holds the seal in place until first opening.
