Fonctionnement

Vertical form-fill-seal: film web is pulled by drive belts and formed into a tube around a former; vertical seal jaw seals the longitudinal seam (back-seal or three/four-side seal). Powder is metered by a stainless-steel screw auger filler into the tube. Horizontal seal jaws then close the top of the previous bag and bottom of the next, with flat or zig-zag (sawtooth) cutter separating bags. A color-mark sensor tracks the printed registration mark on the film for repeatable cut position; a ribbon-coder prints date/batch.
