Three conveyor segments (buffer 250 mm / weighing 250 mm / reject 400 mm) carry packages across a high-precision Mettler Toledo 10 kg aluminium load cell sampled by a high-speed A/D controller. The measured weight is compared against per-product upper/lower limits stored in up to 2,000 recipes. Non-conforming items are rejected by a pusher-rod ejector into a collection tray. Three operating modes: dynamic (normal inline), static (weighing platform stops per item; for ≤20 ppm), and energy-saving (auto-stop when no product detected).
