Fonctionnement

Two-roller rotary die softgel encapsulation: gelatin ribbons are formed and fed onto two counter-rotating roller dies (phi 72 x 110 mm). A wedge above the dies dispenses fill liquid via piston pumps (up to 0.8 mL per stroke) into the die pockets. The dies cut and seal the gelatin halves around the fill, producing softgel capsules; capsules are then conveyed to a tumble dryer (SED-580ZL-I) and drying trays before pulverizing/inspection.
