Fonctionnement
Timber is loaded on rail carts into the cylindrical vacuum chamber. Water-ring vacuum pump evacuates the chamber so water boils at low temperature. Electric heaters heat the chamber; SS steam generator humidifies. Three reversible high-temp axial fans circulate hot vapor over the boards. The pressure differential between the wood interior and the lower-pressure surface accelerates internal moisture migration. Cycles run automatically under PLC control with PT100 monitoring at 8 points.
