Fonctionnement
Samples are placed on 10 shelves (plus one temperature-compensating top shelf) within a circular stainless-steel drying chamber. Shelf temperature is controlled from -40 °C to +90 °C via electric heating (20 kW). The condenser (cold trap) is cooled by a Copeland 4SILV-120 refrigeration compressor using R404A refrigerant to ≤ -50 °C, capturing water vapour. A Bossay BSV90 vacuum pump draws the system down to ≤ 5 Pa (no-load). The dual-colour touchscreen (MCGS) and FATEK Taiwan PLC manage freeze-drying programs; up to 100 programs with 40 segments each can be stored.

1Samples are placed on 10 shelves (plus one temperature-compensating top shelf) within a circular stainless-steel drying chamber.
