Fonctionnement
Plant steam (≤0.55 MPa, DN50.8 inlet, safety valve set at 0.55 MPa) is fed to the I-effect evaporator, boiling the raw (RO) feed water; secondary steam from the I-effect becomes the heating medium for the II-effect, and so on through V effects, recovering latent heat at each stage. Feed water is pre-heated through 4 pre-heaters before entering the first effect. The final distillate passes through 2 double-tube-plate condensers and is monitored by a Burkert conductivity meter (8619/8221S) before being discharged via a pneumatic diaphragm valve as qualified WFI. Non-condensable gases are vented via manual needle valves. A Spirax Sarco steam trap handles I-effect condensate.
