Fonctionnement

A horizontal U-trough cylinder houses a stirring shaft fitted with double-helix ribbon blades (inner and outer). When the stirring device operates, the inner ribbon drives material near the shaft axis axially away from the discharge port, while the outer ribbon drives wall-side material axially toward the discharge port. The opposing axial flows produce a continuous convective mixing cycle that thoroughly blends material in a short time. Sealing parts at both ends of the stirring shaft maintain material cleanliness.
