Fonctionnement

During operation the mixing barrel undergoes multi-directional motion: it rotates on its own axis while simultaneously revolving around the mechanism arm axis (Y-type universal rocker arm mechanism). This combined tumbling, translation, and shear action avoids centrifugal segregation and agglomeration caused by single-axis mixers. Materials mix under simultaneous flow, shear, translation, and diffusion forces — achieving uniform distribution without dead angles. Speed is controlled by the Siemens VFD. The Siemens PLC + SMART-700 IE V3 touchscreen allows operators to set mixing time and running frequency (up to 50 Hz). When the countdown completes the machine stops automatically. A jog function allows positioning the barrel outlet for easy discharge.

Nettoyage et entretien

After each batch, remove the entire mixing barrel — no residual material remains in the machine. Wipe barrel inner and outer walls with WFI or purified water, then dry. Do not leave product in the machine. Clean all contact surfaces before reassembly. Replace lubricating oil within first 3 months; re-lubricate chain every 6 months thereafter.
