SED-8-8300YSJT-F — Tablet / Capsule / Softgel 360° Visual Inspection and Rejection Machine

Tablets are loaded manually or by an optional auto-feeder into the AISI316L hopper, then pass through a two-stage DC electromagnetic vibrator infeeder (adjustable speed) onto 8 channels. They feed onto an upper roller where vacuum cavities hold each tablet for the first camera to inspect one side; tablets transfer to a lower roller (PE, GMP/FDA-compliant, Schneider servo-driven) for the second camera to inspect the opposite side. Two end-face cameras and two side-face cameras image the remaining surfaces (6 cameras total) under custom-tuned illumination. A self-teaching vision algorithm classifies defects (broken, chipped, cracked, dirt, white spots, color difference) and SMC pneumatic gate ejectors reject defectives into a Rejection Bin while passing tablets exit to the Good Tablet Bin. Light-intensity self-monitoring provides feedback to the PLC.
