Cartons are sucked one-by-one from the magazine by rotating vacuum suction heads (Schmalz pump) and placed onto the carrier chain; a double-suction mechanism opens the pressed carton. A pusher transfers product into the opened carton while the leaflet folder simultaneously inserts the instruction leaflet. An angle encoder (Omron) controls all action signals, adjustable in HMI, ensuring timing stability. Batch number/expiry date printing is performed by a roller batch printer. Carton closure is achieved by tongue folding and tongue insertion, with optional Robatech hot-melt glue. PLC (Siemens S7-200) monitors all stations; torque overload protectors on each drive section prevent damage.
