Funcionamiento
Powder is loaded into the hopper and falls by gravity into the die. The lower punch is set at the fill depth, defining the powder dose. The upper punch descends and compresses the powder against the lower punch (up to 60 kN), forming the tablet. The lower punch rises to the die surface, ejecting the tablet, which is swept off by the hopper. An eccentric/cam mechanism driven by the 1.1 kW motor produces the reciprocating motion at constant rate (up to 4,500 cycles/hour); a hand crank can also operate the press for setup or low-volume work.

Limpieza y mantenimiento
Pre-production cleaning required. Post-shift cleaning required: remove remaining powder from hopper and die, wipe all surfaces. If machine will be unused for extended periods, remove die set, clean all friction surfaces, apply anti-rust oil, and store die in oil.
