Funcionamiento
Powder and binder are charged into a SUS304 mixing barrel (cylindrical bottom + conical top). A three-leaf bottom paddle (two-speed 22/30 kW, 120/80 rpm) lifts material in a helical 3-D motion to homogenise dry powders. After binder addition, a side-mounted multi-layer herringbone chopper (two-speed 9/11 kW, 1440/2900 rpm) cuts the wet mass into uniform snow-like granules (20–80 mesh). Both shafts are sealed with rubber rings and pressurised air (≥0.5 MPa) to prevent powder/lubricant cross-contamination. A pneumatic-actuated hinged discharge valve releases the finished granules. Safety interlocks disable the drive when the lid or discharge port is open. CIP via water charged into the barrel and tumbled by the paddles.
