Funcionamiento
Rotary tablet press with 57 IPT die stations on a split turntable. ABB QABmZK4A-B 7.5 kW motor drives the turntable via an arc-tooth worm gearbox. Granules are fed via a forced feeder; main pressure (up to 100 kN) and pre-pressure (up to 60 kN) applied by vertical-column press-wheel frames, extending dwell time for improved tablet quality. Pressure sensor on main wheel monitors average force and triggers emergency stop if overloaded. Displacement sensors on 6 front hand wheels display fill depth, pre-compression and main compression thickness live on the Siemens HMI touchscreen. Beka USA volumetric automatic lubrication services all sliding surfaces.
