Funcionamiento
Single- or triple-layer ribbon screws inside a horizontal trough produce counterflow mixing: the outer ribbon gathers material toward the center while the inner ribbon distributes from the center back outward. The opposing axial flows force convective interchange across the entire bed, producing high-uniformity blending with a loading coefficient of 40–80%.
