Funcionamiento
Rotary double-sided tablet pressing: 27 die stations rotate on a turret; dies are filled with granules from the hopper (or force feeder), then pre-pressed and main-pressed by upper and lower punch sets on both sides as the turret rotates. The planar double-enveloping worm gear provides high load capacity and stability. The ABB 15 kW motor with Inovance variable-frequency drive enables speed adjustment (up to 15 rpm) and increased torque at low speed. Real-time pressure sensors in the roller shafts monitor actual pressing force per tablet cycle. Automatic centralized lubrication covers rollers, tooling tracks and punches. An electromagnetic clutch absorbs startup shock.
