Funcionamiento
Heated medicated solution is metered through a dropper head into a column of cold coolant; surface tension shapes each drop into a sphere as it falls; the coolant solidifies the pill, which is collected in a receiving drawer at the base. The system accommodates 1–12-hole dropper heads. Medicated solution is heated via oil-bath thermostatic system with stirring (0–1,400 rpm) to prevent stratification. The acrylic transparent cooling column allows observation of pill formation. The column and coolant level are raised and lowered by an electric lift system (replacing the original jack design). Cooling column top fitted with overflow port to prevent coolant spillage and to control column-mouth temperature.
Proceso de funcionamiento
