Funcionamiento
Tablets are loaded into the rotary tablet magazine of the tester. The instrument's clamping jaws automatically position each tablet, measure its diameter (2-25 mm at 0.1 mm resolution) by closing until contact, then continue to compress diametrically until the tablet fractures. A force sensor records the peak crushing force in newtons (10-350 N at 0.01 N resolution, ±1.5% ±1 digit accuracy) and reports either N or kg-equivalent. The tester repeats the cycle for up to 1,000 tablets in one automated run, computing statistics on the fly. Data are exported live via RS232 or USB to QC software or printed reports.
