Funcionamiento
The spindle inside the U-shaped vessel carries double-helix ribbon blades. The outer ribbon continuously converges material from both ends toward the center while the inner ribbon simultaneously disperses material from the center to both ends. This opposing two-way convective flow, combined with the shear action generated by the small clearance between the ribbon edges and the vessel wall at low rotational speed, achieves high-uniformity blending.
