Funcionamiento

Tablets/pills/granules are loaded into the 300 mm sugar-coating pan. A main motor (120 W) drives the pan via a V-belt and worm-gear reducer, rotating it clockwise at 0–46 rpm so the batch tumbles and rubs in an optimal flow curve. The operator manually adds syrup and coating mix in successive layers. Simultaneously, a 60 W blower forces hot air (generated by a 500–600 W internal electric heating coil) into the pan, rapidly evaporating moisture from the coating to produce uniform, glossy sugar-coated tablets.

Limpieza y mantenimiento

Pre-production: wipe outer surface with clean wet towel; open machine and wipe inside with wet towel; wipe coating pan first with a clean towel then with 75% industrial alcohol for sterilisation. Post-shift: same procedure for inside/outside and coating pan. After each batch or extended shutdown: remove rotating drum, clean and rinse out remaining powder, then reload. Extended shutdown: wipe all surfaces clean, coat coating drum surface with oil (or anti-rust oil if SS drum), cover machine with dust cover. Lubrication: replace gearbox (worm-gear reducer) lubricating oil every 6 months; lubricate rolling bearings with grease every 6 months. Electrical: dust electrical control cabinet components weekly; check motor wiring insulation regularly.
