Funcionamiento
The operator (or upstream MES) sends label data to the industrial PC (IPC) via Ethernet; the IPC pushes the data to the Zebra ZE511 print engine. As trays advance on the labelling conveyor, a SICK photoelectric sensor detects each product and signals the Siemens PLC. The PLC triggers the print engine to thermal-transfer-print the next label, which is dispensed onto the peel-off plate. The label is then applied to the moving tray's top face by direct/air-blow/swing-arm method (configurable). On any fault (no label, no ribbon, label break, ribbon break) the system raises an alarm or stops.
Proceso de funcionamiento
