SED-25DY-D — SED-25DY-D Single Punch Tablet Press

Powder or granular material is fed into the hopper and gravity-falls into the die cavity. A single set of punches (one upper, one lower) compresses the material in the die at up to 50 kN to form a tablet up to 25 mm in diameter and 8 mm thick; fill depth (up to 20 mm) and tablet thickness are continuously adjustable via screw mechanisms. The lower punch then rises to eject the tablet, which is swept off by a scraper, and the cycle repeats at up to 60 tablets/min. The fully enclosed housing isolates the dies from the operator and prevents dust escape; safety interlocks stop motion when the door is opened.
