Funcionamiento
The drum is mounted in a swinging rack supported by four rollers and two thrust wheels. A 4 kW motor drives continuous rotation of the drum around its horizontal axis. Simultaneously, a 2.2 kW crankshaft-driven swing mechanism rocks the rack, creating a compound motion. Material inside the drum rolls and tumbles on the rotation axis while also being swept back and forth by the swing, achieving rapid and thorough homogenization in a short time.
